Area description
The apartment is located in the 8ème arrondissement, where you find the Champs Elysées, doubtless one of the most celebrated boulevards in the world, filled to the brink with cafés, restaurants and refined shops. In the area you also find Place de la Concorde, the Rond-Point theatre and the Grand Palais, only to mention some of the incredible sights around. The apartment is nestled between two famous Paris churches: La Madeleine, an imposing Neoclassical temple, and the church of Saint Augustin. The Élysée Palace, the official residence of the French President, and the renowned promenade of Faubourg Saint Honoré, home to the best boutiques of the city, are within very easy walking distance (about 10 minutes on foot). Another Paris landmark right on the doorstep is the caterer and luxury food store Fauchon, right on Place de la Madeleine, your sweet-tooth heaven in Paris.
